Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Gris 2020 a vintage of variability led to a yellow-fleshed peach aroma with a touch of pear and a backdrop of white jasmine blossom. The palate displays these same characteristics in abundance focusing more on succulent white peach notes, while the mid-palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a pithy, stonefruit-focused finish.
Tasting Note
Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Gris 2021 has aromas of Nashi pear, white peach and jasmine florals combined together with complex savoury notes on the nose. Flowing through to the palate flavours of ripe pear and stonefruit with a weighty and creamy finish. The cool climate to which this wine comes shines through with its mineral edge on the finish.
