Ardbeg 19YO Traigh Bhan Batch #3 700ml
The third release of Ardbeg’s 19-year-old expression, Traigh Bhan. A small batch bottling with the youngest spirit having been distilled on the 10th October 2001, matured in a mixture of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks and bottled ‘during a lockdown’. With notes of lime zest, seaspray and tarry rope, this sounds like splendid older Ardbeg to us.
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: A burst of sweet, scented wood smoke billows, mingled with hints of sea spray, as if carried on a breath of wind along a shoreline Wisps of pine resin, aniseed toffee and a suggestion of flowering lilies follow on a breeze Citrus zest and a touch of a cayenne pepper flood in A sudden splash of water brings forth floral waxy notes along with charcoal and fish oil, and finally a drop of classic Sherry and linseed oil.
Palate: A tide of rich, sappy texture is followed moments later by classic, sweet, smokiness, with tarry rope and treacle toffee bobbing on the palate Aniseed twists and soot ripple in a second wave Smoke is distant now but present, while smoked brown sugar, sugar-coated walnuts and gentle spices ebb and flow.
Finish: A long, unhurried finish carries bitter almonds, linseed oil, clove, pepper and soot in its wake, slowly drifting away.

The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
