Dumbarton 1975 Gordon and MacPhail Private Collection 45yo 44% 700ml
Dumbarton is a closed grain distillery, known for using American-style stainless steel columns rather than the traditional Coffey stills. Only using maize (instead of wheat or barley) meant that the spirit possessed quite a heavy character. Rarely bottled as a single grain, the overwhelming majority was used in the Ballantine’s blend. The distillery itself shut in 2002, and is now demolished.
Bottled in 2020, this is part of the Private Collection range from the Elgin-based bottlers. As 2018, this line replaced the Rare Old series as its most premium offerings, and come exceptionally presented in decadent glass bottles.

Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
