In the series of Diageo Special Releases 2021, the liquid creation has a mermaid as its patron who bewitches nature with her song. The Singleton of Glendullan was allowed to mature in American oak barrels before finding rest in former cognac barrels. The result is this smooth, sweet concoction that brings the siren’s voice to life in every connoisseur. For those who haven’t heard the song, a smartphone and the label’s QR code can help. Created by artist Ken Taylor and set to music by Scottish actors, the work of art takes on a life of its own.
Tasting Notes
Nose: mild with fruity aromas of apricots, figs and oranges, as well as a hint of marzipan and vanilla
Palate: Soft and full-bodied with the outstanding sweetness of green apples, grapes and spicy pepper, cinnamon and oak
Finish: lingering dark chocolate with a hint of orange
